Dude DeWalt Vineyard Plein Air
As you drive east on highway 16 from my hometown of Star you enter into Eagle. Not too far past River Birch golf course you come to Dude DeWalt Vineyards located on the right at the top of a windy road overlooking Eagle.
I’ve been to a lot of vineyards in California and in Idaho and the owners are always very pleasant, but this place is off the charts friendly.
I asked them for permission to do a painting, and they allowed me to paint both when they were closed, and also when they were open. It was so nice that somebody from the staff stopped by nearly every hour to see if I needed anything, marvel at the painting in progress or to just chat.
There are so many picture-perfect scenes like the one I chose at this venue. I hope you like this 18 x 24 Oil done at one of the first sights you see when visiting here. I hope you like it.
